NANUET – A 41-year-old
Bronx man has been charged with two counts of vehicular assault and other
crimes in connection with a three-car crash on Monday.
Clarkstown Police said Rohan Brijlall was driving an SUV that struck two
stopped vehicles in the right lane of traffic on Route 59 in Nanuet.
Brijlall and three passengers fled the scene of the accident. When they
were apprehended, Brijlall was charged and the three other occupants were
released.
He was also charged with DWI and aggravated unlicensed operation.
Brijlall was remanded to the Rockland County Jail in lieu of $100,000
cash bail.
