Beacon man charged with killing, dismembering Brooklyn woman four years ago

NEW YORK – A Beacon man was charged on Wednesday with murder in connection with the death of a Brooklyn woman in 2014.
New York City Police said around 8:45 p.m. on Tuesday, August 28, Ricky Gonzalez, 34, of 153 Tomkins Terrace in Beacon walked into a police precinct and confessed to stabbing and dismembering Maria Quinones, 58, of Brooklyn. The crime occurred at some point in 2014 inside 226 Wilson Avenue in Brooklyn.
Police said at this time, the woman has not been located and the investigating is continuing.
In addition to the murder charge, Gonzalez was charged with concealment of a human corpse.
