Man held up in Wal-mart parking lot

TOWN OF WALLKILL – A 34-year
old Town of Wallkill man was held up at gunpoint and robbed while walking
across the Wal-mart parking lot at 8:10 p.m. on Thursday, August 13, Town
Police Chief Robert Hertman said Friday.

The victim told police he was approached by two men, with a handgun, who
forcibly stole an undetermined amount of property from him.

The suspects fled on foot in the direction of Taco Bell. Anyone with information
about this incident is asked to call Town of Wallkill detectives at 845-692-6757.

Both suspects were said to be black, one about 20 years old, wearing a
black t-shirt and baggy blue jeans. He was the one with the gun. The victim
could provide no physical description of the second suspect.
