CATSKILL – State Police arrested a Catskill man on a felony charge of criminal possession of a forged instrument.
Leonel Rosario, 26, who is also known as “Big Pun,” was arrested after a joint investigation by State Police BCI in Catskill and the Catskill Police Department. He was arrested by Catskill Police for depositing fraudulent checks into the Catskill branches of the Bank of Greene County. Further investigation revealed he had also deposited fraudulent checks in the Cairo branch.
Rosario was sent to the Greene County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond.
