MONTICELLO – The Sullivan County Partnership has been working with prospective businesses looking to locate in the county as the casino is about to receive the green light to start construction.
The Sullivan County Chamber of Commerce is providing backup for existing and potential new businesses, said Chamber President Cathy Paty.
“There is so much interest in people looking to get involved – how do they partner, how do they get on these vendors lists, how do they become a part of it or do they bid on certain items of the project,” Paty said. “It’s a catalyst spark and just moving along.”
The state is expected to give the okay for Empire Resorts to start construction
on the casino within the next few weeks.
