POUGHKEEPSIE – Republican Dutchess County District Attorney William
Grady is seeking his ninth four-year term this fall.
If no Democrat emerges to challenge him, he will run unopposed for the seventh time.
Grady chalks up his success in office to his staff of assistant DA’s.
“I’ve had outstanding attorneys who are dedicated professionally; outstanding public servants and they care about the community, and when you have that, you have the ingredients necessary to do a good job,” the incumbent DA said.  “The reason I am here today is because of the great job my staff has done over the years.”
Grady has handled cases from the smallest misdemeanors to murders and
he said his office puts the same amount of energy in prosecuting all of
them.
