TOWN OF WARWICK – A large fire is raging at a lumber company in
the Town of Warwick.
The fire at Mid-State Lumber Company on Kings Highway is up to five alarms
with several fire departments from across the area being called out along
with ambulance corps. Additional tanker trucks were called in to supply
water.
The blaze was reported in the late afternoon hours and continued to burn
in several buildings containing lumber.
One firefighter was taken to a local hospital for treatment of an injury.
