Howard W. “Butch” Hinkley, 81 of the Town of Ulster died Tuesday April 23, 2024, at HealthAlliance Hospital: Mary’s Avenue Campus.
Butch was a union carpenter working thirty-five years in Local 279 where after fifty-four years, he is still a member. He was an avid camper traveling throughout the country and was a member of the NCHA – FCRV Camping Organization for over forty years and a member of the Leftfooters Square Dancing Club. Butch was a hard worker, not only at his job but also for his family and friends. He lived for his family and friends.
Surviving is his wife of fifty-nine years, (sixty years would have come this September) Betty Ann Hinkley; his children, James Howard Hinkley and his wife Christy; Julie Ann Koch and her husband David; his grandchildren, Natalie and Maximilian “Max” Hinkley.
As per Butch’s wishes, there will be no services.
