MID-HUDSON – The winter storm that is bearing down on us could dump up to two feet of snow on us by the time is moves up on Tuesday.
The National Weather Service forecasts between 14 and 25 inches of the white stuff depending upon where you are.
Most municipal offices are closed Monday.

Snow likely, mainly after 2am. Cloudy, with a low around 17. Wind chill values between 5 and 10. Northeast wind 5 to 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. Total nighttime snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.
Monday
Snow. The snow could be heavy at times. High near 25. Wind chill values between 5 and 10. Blustery, with a northeast wind 13 to 21 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 7 to 11 inches possible.
Monday Night
Snow. The snow could be heavy at times. Low around 25. Wind chill values between 10 and 15. Blustery, with a north wind 20 to 23 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 6 to 10 inches possible.
Tuesday
Periods of snow before 2pm, then rain and snow likely between 2pm and 4pm, then snow likely after 4pm. High near 33. Wind chill values between 15 and 25. North wind 11 to 17 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of around an inch possible.
