POUGHKEEPSIE – An accident this morning just west of the intersection of Mill and Catharine Street in the City of Poughkeepsie snarled traffic on the westbound arterial.
The collision involved a dump truck and an SUV.
Poughkeepsie firefighters assisted Mobile Life medics in treating the driver and three young children in the SUV. All four were transported to a local hospital for additional treatment.
The driver of the truck was not injured.
The westbound arterial was limited to one lane of passage as city police investigated the accident.
