POUGHKEEPSIE – A taxi driver was robbed at knifepoint early this morning in Poughkeepsie.
Police radio reports indicated a man, about six feet tall, wearing dark clothes, pulled a knife on the cabbie on Smith Street near Harrison Street and made off with about $100 in cash.
The robbery remains under investigation.
