KINGSTON – Sales of single-family homes in Ulster County in the Month of May fell 10 percent from the sale month last year, the Ulster County Board of Realtors reports.
A total of 123 homes sold this past May compared to 137 in May 2018.
Year-to-date, home sales declined by four percent, going from 582 in the first five months of last year to 558 so far this year.
The average selling price in the first five months of 2018 was $272,209 while this year, it was $268,523.
On average, days on the market increased from 119 in 2018 to 125 so far this year.
