MILFORD, PA – A Stormville man was sentenced in Pike County, Pennsylvania Court to one to 12 months in the Pike County Jail for simple assault. Dwayne Cantelmo, 45, has also been sentenced to two years of probation and a $300 fine. Cantelmo struck an 11-year-old child in the face, knocking him to the ground at a location in Dingman Township on May 27, 2018.
In an unrelated case, Matthew Wichtendahl, 44, of Port Jervis, was sentenced to 66 days to 23 ½ months in Pike County Jail and fined $500 for theft. He cashed a fraudulent check for $3,950 at a retail store in Westfall Township between February 1 and February 15, 2018, knowing the check was no good.
