TOWN OF DEERPARK – A 20-year-old
Glen Spey man has been ticketed for speed not reasonable after his pickup
truck ran off Oakland Valley Road in the Town of Deerpark and crashed
into the Neversink River.
Deerpark Police Chief Richard Sztyndor said Dylan Storms was westbound
when he failed to negotiate a curve, hit a tree and went into the river.
The vehicle was partially submerged and Storms was able to get out by
himself.
He was transported by Port Jervis Ambulance to Orange Regional Medical
Center in the Town of Wallkill for observation since he was complaining
of shoulder pain.
