KINGSTON – A 28-year-old
Kingston woman has been arrested by the Ulster County Sheriff’s
Office and charged with two counts of felony offering a false instrument
for filing and a misdemeanor of welfare fraud.

District Attorney Holley Carnright said an investigation found that Danielle
Lambert filed both Temporary Assistance and SNAP applications between
May and July 2018 with the Department of Social Services indicating she
had two children in her household, when in fact, she does not have any
children in her household.

She received $668.67 in Temporary Assistance and SNAP benefits to which
she was not entitled.

Lambert was issued appearance tickets to Ulster Town Court.
