Albany man drowned in Greene County swimming hole

TOWN OF CATSKILL – The Greene County Sheriff office reports a drowning on July 4, in Catskill Creek.  They were called to a popular swimming hole near a Thruway overpass for a repot of a man under water and unable to swim. 
Nay Htoo, 18, was pulled from the water by first responders but efforts to revive him failed and he was pronounced dead at the scene. 
Several fire departments, ambulance crews and state police responded.
