ALBANY – Five private colleges will receive state funds from the Higher Education Capital Matching Grant Program to create construction jobs and drive investment in communities across the region and state.
Iona College in New Rochelle will receive $5 million for renovation and expansion of the School of Business building.
Marist College in Poughkeepsie will receive $426,612 to create an Art and Fashion Design Manufacturing Lab.
Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry will receive $2.2 million for acquisition of property for expansion of the campus.
Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh will receive $500,000 for renovation of Aquinas Hall including the purchase and installation of equipment.
Saint Thomas Aquinas College in Sparkill will receive $89,189 for the purchase of scientific exercise equipment.
