Fire heavily damages Chelsea house

CHELSEA – A three-alarm fire destroyed a two-story house at 60
Huber Road in the Chelsea Fire District on Tuesday afternoon.

The fire was called in around 2 p.m., first reported as a fire in an electrical
outlet. The Castle Point Fire Department was the closest to the scene
and responded within minutes to find the home engulfed in flames.

Fire departments from Dutchess and Putnam counties responded to quell
the flames.
There were no reports of injuries and the exact cause of the fire remains
under investigation by the Dutchess County Fire Investigation Team.
