Connecticut man arrested for possessing loaded gun

TOWN OF SOUTHEAST – A Danbury, Connecticut man has been arrested following a traffic stop on Interstate 84 in the Town of Southeast when State Police found he possessed an illegal loaded firearm.
Esmelyn Hernandez, 46, was charged with criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of a firearm, both as felonies. He is in the Putnam County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond.
