Monroe damages in house/synagogue

MONROE – Firefighters battled a four-alarm blaze in a house that
includes a synagogue at 282 Mountainview Drive in the Town of Monroe.

The blaze broke out around mid-day and brought out firefighters from several
area departments as flames burned through the roof sending fire and thick
black smoke into the sky.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time. There have been no reports
of injuries.
