Newburgh man charged with insurance fraud in 2013 house fire

TOWN OF NEWBURGH – A 52-year-old Town of Newburgh man was arrested on charges of insurance fraud and attempted grand larceny, both felonies, in connection with a house fire on Route 32 in the Town of Newburgh back in October 2013.
Alejandro Perez, 52, was arrested after 4 ½-year investigation.  He was arraigned and released pending a future court appearance.
