ANCRAM – The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed home invasion robbery in which three men, armed with weapons.
Two people were assaulted. The robbers attempted to detain the third victim with duct tape. A fourth victim escaped and went to a nearby neighbor to call police.
The victims defended themselves and fought off the attackers. One of the male victims suffered lacerations to his face and was transported to Albany Medical Center by Community Rescue Squad where he was treated and later released.
