TOWN OF POUGHKEEPSIE –
A suspect has been arrested in connection with the August 23, 2017 robbery
of the Trustco Bank branch at 2656 South Road in the Town of Poughkeepsie.
Authorities said Friday that Thomas Dougher, 41, has been charged by the
FBI with committing eight other bank robberies in several states.
The US Attorney’s Office is prosecuting him in all nine cases.
The Poughkeepsie robbery was investigated by Town of Poughkeepsie Police
jointly with State Police, and the FBI.
No address was given for Dougher.
