NEWBURGH – The City of
Newburgh appears to be on an economic roll with increased interest by
business and developers and Mayor Judy Kennedy would like to solicit input
from the community.  She wants to create an independent advisory
committee to assist in attracting business.
“To bring ideas to the council, to bring ideas to our departments and go through it so that we can vet some of those ideas and work with you,” Kennedy said. “Our hands are full; there are a lot of people who have a lot of passion around this.”
The city council will discuss possible ways of setting up an advisory committee going forward.
