Pittman
TOWN OF WALLKILL – A traffic stop on Route 17 in the Town of Wallkill Sunday night resulted in a Woodridge man being arrested for criminal possession of a weapon as a felony.
State Police from the Town of Wallkill stopped a car driven by Troy Pittman, for traffic infractions. During the stop, troopers found him in possession of a half-ounce of marijuana. Further investigation revealed he was in possession of a loaded .380 caliber pistol.
Pittman was charged with gun possession as well as unlawful possession of marijuana and was sent to the Orange County Jail without bail.
