Couple charged with burglarizing Dutchess school

POUGHKEEPSIE – The Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office has arrested
a man and woman on burglary charges for allegedly stealing items from
Wappingers Junior High School.

Authorities said David Borrelli, 36, of Pleasant Valley, and Felicia Burnham,
30, of Bayshore, allegedly entered the building during an evening school
event on January 3 and stole a Hovercam and contractor’s nail gun.
Both were recovered.

Investigation led to the pair being identified and arrested on Friday,
January 5. They were each charged with felony burglary with Borrelli being
committed to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $15,000 bail or $30,000
bond and Burnham being remanded on $20,000 cash bail or $40,000 bond.

The investigation is continuing and anyone with information should contact
