Three, caught with almost three pounds of cocaine, indicted

KINGSTON – An Ulster County
grand jury indicted three people for possession of 2.8 pounds of cocaine
packaged in their vehicle’s air intake.
The three were stopped on Sunday, December 3 while driving on the Thruway in the Town of Plattekill.
Ricardo Almenteros is on federal probation stemming from a prior drug conviction in Rochester. Ricardo E. Almenteros and Edward Pearce have no criminal convictions, the Ulster District Attorney’s Office reported.
The three men were charged with drug possession with intent to sell.
