KINDERHOOK – Five protestors
at Congressman John Faso’s Office in the Village of Kinderhook were
charged with the violation of trespassing when they refused to leave the
building at 5 p.m. on Monday.

Columbia County Sheriff David Bartlett said deputies spoke with the protestors
“to try to avoid any arrests by just encouraging them to leave the
office on their own.”

They refused to do so. Four of the protestors were from Columbia County
and one was from Kingston.

State Police assisted the sheriff’s office at the scene.
