SAUGERTIES – Police arrested Malikye Stokes, 20, of Kingston, for allegedly assaulted by punching and kicking, a 20 year-old man, breaking both of the victim’s jaws. Stokes then stole over $1,000 in cash from the victim.
The victim was admitted to the Albany Medical Center.
Police reported Stokes as wanted earlier Wednesday. He was arrested without incident about 2:30 Wednesday afternoon at the Sky Top Motel in the Town of Saugerties. He is in the Ulster County Jail in liue of $30,000 bail.
