JOHNSON CITY, TN – A man, who was one of Tennessee’s Top
10 Most Wanted suspects, has been captured.
Jarret Heitmann, 24, was arrested last Thursday by New Orleans, Louisiana
Police following a shoplifting incident. He was being held in the Orleans
Parish Jail in Louisiana, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation reported.
Heitmann’s girlfriend, Makayla Stilwell, 22, was still at-large
as of the weekend.
Both were spotted at the end of June in the Orange County, New York Town
of Crawford and the following day in Matamoras, Pennsylvania.
The pair had been wanted by the Sullivan County, Tennessee Sheriff’s
Office and Tennessee Bureau of Investigation to face charges of attempted
murder and especially aggravated robbery in connection with a shooting
incident on June 20 in Kingsport, Tennessee. Heitmann is also facing charges
of aggravated kidnapping in Hawkins County.
