TARRYTOWN – A man was
taken into custody on Tuesday afternoon after he threatened to jump off
the new Governor Cuomo TZ Bridge.

State Police said the man, whose name they did not provide, said he was
going to jump off the new span at 3:26 p.m., but police took him into
custody and brought him to a hospital for observation.

The northbound/westbound span of the twin-span bridge was opened to traffic
for the first time this past Friday night.
