Yonkers PD investigate discovery of reported explosive device

YONKERS – Yonkers Police are investigating a report of the discovery of an explosive device Monday morning around 11 a.m.

The device was said to be located at 1065 Nepperhan Avenue.

Police units on the scene confirmed the device and the Emergency Services Unit requested the Westchester County Bomb Squad to the scene.
