POUGHKEEPSIE – City Police
in Poughkeepsie have charged a 22-year-old man with criminal possession
of a weapon and criminal possession of stolen property after he was found
with a stolen 9 mm handgun.
The arrest of Alvin Kiggundu of Poughkeepsie followed the shooting of
a man nearby in the area of 181 Mill Street.
The wounded man, a 23-year-old, had been shot in the foot just before
5 p.m. on Monday.
The investigation into the shooting is continuing.
