Binghamton man arrested in Kingston on burglary and assault charges

KINGSTON – A Binghamton man, wanted by the Broome County Sheriff’s Office, was arrested in Kingston on felony charges of burglary and assault.
Michael Nightingale, 24, arrested on Friday, July 7, was also charged with criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation, criminal mischief, resisting arrest, menacing and endangering the welfare of a child.
During routine patrol, officers conducted a field interview near Maiden Lane and Fair Street in Kingston, and interviewed Nightingale, who gave police a false name.
Officers determined they had stopped Nightingale and charged him with the outstanding warrants as well as criminal impersonation.
