Yonkers man sentenced in stabbing death

WHITE PLAINS – A Yonkers
man, who stabbed another man in the chest with a large knife killing him,
was sentenced to 15 years in state prison after pleading guilty to charges
of manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon.

Joseph Graham, 37, of Yonkers and the victim, Clarence Vanhook, were involved
in a physical confrontation near 5 South Broadway in Yonkers after 4 p.m.
on September 12, 2016. Graham pulled out a knife and stabbed Vanhook in
the chest, striking him in the heart.

Yonkers Police arrested Graham a short time later when he was spotted
walking nearby.
