KINGSTON – The comptroller
in the City of Kingston, who recently tendered his resignation, has reconsidered
and agreed to stay on.
John Tuey has been with the city for about a decade and recently resigned
to consider other options.
The city’s common council voted last week to ask him to reconsider
and it apparently worked because Mayor Steven Noble announced on Tuesday
that Tuey would stay on.
“John has already contributed a great deal to our city and I look
forward to working with him to achieve even more in the years to come,”
said the mayor.
