New venue this year … Greenwood Lake

GREENWOOD LAKE – The Hoboken International Film Festival, which
began on Friday night, continues this week being held for the first time
in Greenwood Lake.
It has attracted thousands so far and Warwick Town Supervisor Michael Sweeton expects it to have a long-term effect on tourism.
“Applefest does it for the fall for us,” Sweeton said. “People come back time after time, so they will come here [for the film festival] and they will stay or come back and enjoy the lake, or come over the hill to the restaurants and the wineries. It will be good.”
The film festival is in its 12th year, the fifth year in Orange County. It was held for four years in Middletown.
