Port Jervis school budget approved

PORT JERVIS – By a less than 100 vote margin, the Port Jervis Central School District budget was approved on Tuesday. A total of 545 residents voted for the $70.2 million spending plan with 456 voting against it.
The district’s capital projects budget of $5.58 million was okayed by a wider 627 to 362 margin.
Elected to the school board were Judith Amato, Florence Santini and Joan McBride.
