PLATTEKILL – Two Ulster County men were arrested on burglary and other charges following a break-in at a residence on Milton Turnpike in the Town of Plattekill.
At about 6:30 p.m. on May 2, Ulster County Sheriff’s detectives and Plattekill Town Police responded to a report of a burglary in progress. When they arrived, the suspects had fled and several electronics and other valuables were stolen.
Police developed suspects from the evidence and on May 4, arrested Christopher Williams, 33, of Accord and William Redner, 37, of Clintondale. They were each charged with burglary, grand larceny and conspiracy.
Both are in the Ulster County Jail.  Bail was set at $100,000 cash or $200,000 bond for Willaims, and $2,500 cash or $5,000 bond for Redner.
The investigation is continuing and police say additional charges are likely in regard to other incidents. Assisting in the investigation were State Police at Highland.
