Three stabbed during Town of Wallkill attack

The scene of Tuesday night’s triple stabbing was quiet Wednesday
afternoon

TOWN OF WALLKILL – Two young men are in Orange Regional Medical
Center in critical condition after they were stabbed Tuesday night. A
third victim was treated and released.
Wallkill Police Chief Robert Hertman said the three victims were involved
in a fight with between five and eight suspects.  All of the victims
were stabbed during fight earlier in the evening at Woodstock Park on
Woodstock Lane, he said.
The police learned of the incident when hospital officials called to report they were treating three men for stab wounds.
Two of the victims are in critical, but stable condition. Justin Michel, 26, of Wallkill, was stabbed in the torso. Cameron Leath, 18, of Pine Bush, was stabbed in the torso, arm and leg. Dyllan Valer-Chabut, 19, of Wawayanda, sustained stab wounds to his leg and arm. He was treated and released.
Hertman could not speculate on a motive.
