TOWN OF THOMPSON – Completion of the new Urgent Care/Primary Care office for Catskill Regional Medical Group in the Town of Thompson is just two months away with a ribbon cutting and opening anticipated around Memorial Day.
Construction crews have been working to spackle walls, install heating, air conditioning, plumbing and electrical systems.
The new facility is located in Kiamesha, at the corner of Route 42 and Concord Road next to the Adelaar resort with the Montreign casino.
The 11,500-square-foot building will have 12 exam rooms and offer urgent care, x-ray and laboratory services, said Rob Lee, the executive director of public relations and marketing for parent organization Greater Hudson Valley Health System, serving Orange Regional Medical Center and Catskill Regional Medical Center.
The Thompson facility will be the fourth location for Catskill Regional Medical Group with existing offices in Harris, Livingston Manor and Callicoon.
Catskill Regional Medical Group is a component of Catskill Regional Medical Center.
