Crews continue to plow the roads as blizzard tapers off

MID-HUDSON/CATSKILLS – As the snow fades away and the winds start
to die down, Metro-North Railroad is ruming limited hourly service from
6 p.m. until 11 p.m. while a full travel ban remained in effect until
8 p.m. Tuesday on Interstate 84 from Pennsylvania to the Connecticut border.
Tractor-trailers are banned from the Thruway, and Route 17/86. Private
vehicular travel should be avoided.

Counties emergency operations centers remain activated.

Check with your airline before going to the airport. Stewart Airport is
open and airlines have cancelled 14 flights.
