Village of Goshen gets state funding for new sidewalks

ALBANY – The Village of Goshen will receive a $75,000 state grant for construction of new sidewalks on Greenwich Avenue.  The current walk is in disrepair, making it dangerous, especially in inclement weather.
Mayor Kyle Roddey said the new sidewalk will “facilitate economic development and improve pedestrian safety.”
“The grant will improve public safety, help with economic development and save Village of Goshen taxpayers money,” said Senator John Bonacic, who secured the funding through the State Municipal Facilities Program.
