RAMAPO – Fire in a house at 18 Slinn Avenue in Hillcrest destroyed the structure on Friday.
Ramapo Police were called to the scene just before 10:30 a.m. and found flames shooting from the home.
The Spring Valley Fire Department battled the blaze with the assistance of firefighters from Hillcrest and Nanuet departments, but the house was a total loss.
All of the residents got out safely and made arrangements to stay with family for now.
Ramapo Police detectives, Rockland County BCI and the Ramapo Fire Inspector’s Office were on the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
