Serino says her positive campaign got her re-elected

POUGHKEEPSIE – State Senator Susan Serino (R, Hyde Park) told supporters Tuesday night that they got behind a positive campaign that led to her victory for a second two-year term.
“Too often, Albany operates in a bubble, but I will never lose sight of where I came from or the experiences that made me who I am,” Serino said.  “This time with the presidential election, you don’t know what is going on. My stomach was in knots so it is just such a fantastic feeling to have people cross party lines to support me because they love me and I just want to continue doing my job.”
Serino said her campaign “sent a clear message that we stand ready to come together to move our community forward.”
