TOWN OF CHESTER – It was a rough ending to the week for one UPS driver in Orange County. His truck flipped over around 4:30 Friday afternoon on Route 94 and Conklingtown Road in the Town of Chester.
The driver said he was driving from the Village of Florida when traffic suddenly came to a standstill as drivers were trying to turn left on to Conklingtown Road. He said he lost control of his truck, causing it to flip on its side. He became trapped and was rescued by firefighters and was not injured.
The truck was empty as he had just finished his delivery.
The accident is under investigation.
