Three arrested for armed robbery of Claverack gas station

CLAVERACK – Three City of Hudson men are in the Columbia County
Jail without bail following their arrests in connection with the late
night August 11 armed robbery of the Sunoco gas station at the intersection
of Route 9H and Route 66 in Claverack.

A joint police investigation led to the arrests of Jonathan Garcia, 22,
Charles Corey, 19, and Roberto Guerrero, 22, all of Hudson. They were
all charged with first-degree armed robbery.

The trio was arrested following an investigation by State Police, the
Columbia County Sheriff’s Office and City of Hudson Police Department.

Garcia, Corey and Guerrero are alleged to have entered the store, one
armed with a knife, and demanded money of the clerk. They fled with an
undetermined amount of cash.
