Fire destroys home in New Windsor

VAILS GATE – A two-alarm fire in the “Reserve” housing development in Vails Gate Sunday night gutted a house on Forest Glen.
Firefighters were called to the scene around 7:30 p.m. All occupants escaped unharmed.
The cause is under investigation.
On the scene were Vails Gate Fire Department aided by several others, New Windsor Police, an Orange County fire coordinator, and Central Hudson.
