KINGSTON – The problem of bedbug infestation is not just limited to Kingston, Mayor Steven Noble said.  The problem has been brought to the attention of the city’s common council and the mayor said it is being addressed by the city.
“One of the best ways is to get prevention but also making sure that when something is identified the landlord or the homeowner and the tenants all work together to get these problems resolved,” Noble said. “There are a lot of efforts going on both privately and publicly to help do this. There are folks working to help meet that need, but we as a city, our role is to make sure people are living in safe housing and our building department is continuing to work on that.”
