BEACON – The pedestrian walkway on the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge will be closed between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Tuesday, May 17 and Wednesday, May 18 for maintenance work. The work is weather dependent.
The New York State Bridge Authority will post updates on Facebook and Twitter feeds for status and any changes in the schedule.
This is the second of four temporary closures this spring to perform necessary maintenance work. The Bridge Authority regrets any inconvenience to those wishing to use the walkway while maintenance work is performed.
